"2018 Guangdong Province Wire and Cable Industry Conference" held in Guangzhou

On May 8, 2018, the Guangdong Provincial Wire and Cable Association held the "Guangdong Province Wire and Cable Industry Conference in 2018" at the Phoenix City Hotel in Zengcheng, Guangzhou. More than 100 cable companies from the province participated in the meeting. Zhang Jie, general engineer of Guangyi Yongxiong, attended the meeting.

In the same period, the vice chairman meeting of the Guangdong Provincial Wire and Cable Association was held in the morning of 2018. The 2017 report of the 2017 Association was mainly reported by the Secretary-General and the 2017 financial report was made by the Chief Supervisor. Members discussed the most pressing issues in the cable industry caused by the Xi'an Okay incident and the ZTE event.

In the afternoon, the “2018 Guangdong Province Wire and Cable Industry Conference” was held. Firstly, Yangtze River Bin, Deputy Director of Shanghai Cable Research Institute, counts 2017 China's cable industry, and Chief Engineer Xie Shuhong of Zhongtian Technology Group Co., Ltd. shared the national “One Belt and One Road” initiative of global deployment of economic development space. Secretary-General Liu Tao made a contribution to Guangdong in 2017. The cable association work report, Mao Qingchuan, chief expert of the Shanghai Cable Research Institute, deputy secretary-general of the Wire and Cable Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, interpreted the “Guangdong Province Wire and Cable Industry Development Guidance Opinions (2017-2020)”.

The first "Guangdong Province Optoelectronic Cable Expert Committee" was established. Mao Qingchuan, the chief expert of the Shanghai Cable Research Institute, the deputy secretary general of the Electric Wire and Cable Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, became the honorary director of the special committee. He was later awarded by the Guangdong Province Opto-Electronic Cable Experts.
