The second standard review meeting of the national wire and cable "leader" standard was successfully held

On August 18, Guangdong wire and cable industry association held the second standard review meeting of national wire and cable "leader" standards in TUV, Guangzhou. The meeting was presided over by Liang Yutong, Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong wire and cable industry association. China Institute of standardization, national wire and cable product quality supervision and Inspection Center (Wuhan), Guangzhou Nanyang cable group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen jinhuanyu wire and cable Co., Ltd., Guangdong new Yaguang cable industry Co., Ltd., Shenzhen dongjiaxin wire and cable Co., Ltd., Foshan G.Y.M Co., Ltd., Zhuhai Rongsheng ultra micro wire Co., Ltd 9 experts in cable industry such as Guangdong Hengtong Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd. and 20 members of standard leading units attended the meeting.

Guan Jinxin, director of the leader office of China Institute of standardization, introduced in detail the enterprise standard "leader" system and its implementation. The system is based on the disclosure of the self declaration of enterprise product and service standards, which is evaluated by a third-party evaluation organization, and the ranking list of enterprise standards is published, based on which the list of "leaders" is formed and published. In 2020, more than 140 "leader" series standards have been formulated and 100 have been issued, providing a starting point for quality management. In 2021, the State Administration of Market Supervision announced 202 key areas of "leader" of enterprise standards, involving more than 1000 categories of specific products and services. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the "leader" of enterprise standards in 2021, and in view of the problems in the evaluation in 2020, China Institute of standardization, in conjunction with relevant associations and institutions, has put forward a series of "leader" group standards. This series of standards is composed of the general rules for the preparation of "leader" standards and the evaluation requirements of "leader" standards for specific products and service categories. It is an important supplement to the implementation plan of "leader" of enterprise standards. On the one hand, it provides guidance for enterprises to formulate standards, on the other hand, it standardizes and guides third-party evaluation institutions to prepare enterprise standard "leader" evaluation schemes and carry out evaluation work.

At the review meeting, nine experts carefully reviewed the text and article descriptions of the standard sentence by sentence, and strictly reviewed and discussed the words and sentences of the standard, the source of data, the determination of indicators, the use of testing methods, etc. The expert group suggests that the standard preparation procedure should be standardized, the materials submitted for review should be complete, the structure should be clear and reasonable, and the content should be complete. It is hoped that the preparation group will modify it according to the opinions of the review meeting and complete the draft for approval as soon as possible.

Finally, Liang Yutong, Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong wire and cable industry association, supplemented the introduction of the bay area standard of the technical specification for USB charging data cable. The technical specification of USB charging data line in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan district is a regional development competitive advantage constructed by integrating the differentiated institutional advantages of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, benchmarking with international leading standards, and building into a global advanced data line technical standard. And actively explore the upgrading of bay area standards to international standards, and lead the high-quality development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area with advanced standards, which has practical and practical significance for promoting the construction of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area into a world-class Bay area. In 2021, led by Guangdong wire and cable industry association, a standards working group composed of experts from Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macao prepared and issued the bay area standard technical specification for USB charging data cable.
