On the spot, Yu Kai, the general manager of the National Cable Network, made the report "Analysis of the Development Trend of China's Cable Industry" to let everyone know that the rapid development of China's cable industry is mainly due to the stable development of China's macro-economy. At the same time, with the promotion of the development of relevant domestic industries and the external the Belt and Road development strategy, the sales revenue of China's wire and cable industry is expected to continue to increase in the future.

Ten Year Development Report on Guangdong Cable Industry

Lin Wei, Secretary General of the Guangdong Wire and Cable Industry Association, presented the "2013-2022 Guangdong Cable Industry Ten Year Development Report". Sharing the past decade, coincided with China's reform and opening up entering the deep water zone, and the transformation of economic development strategy from "quantitative accumulation" to "qualitative leap"; A batch of high-end products such as Guangdong ultra-high voltage transmission wires, ultra-high voltage cables, and Class 8 data cables have emerged; A group of Guangdong cable enterprises have entered the "Top 100 Most Competitive Enterprises in China's Cable Industry" list, and Guangdong cable has made contributions to the development of the industry.

Release of industry development guidance opinions

The "Guiding Opinions on the Development of the Wire and Cable Industry in Guangdong Province (2022-2025)" has been heavily released. In the new round of technological revolution and industrial upgrading, the development of the wire and cable manufacturing industry needs to be based on "quality manufacturing+intelligent manufacturing", continuously innovate and progress, and achieve the goal of "Made in China for Green Manufacturing, Intelligent Manufacturing, and Smart Manufacturing" in 2025, which points out the direction for the high-quality development of the Guangdong cable industry.

Policy interpretation

Zhou Xiang, a fourth level researcher at the Quality and Safety Supervision Department of the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, explained the "Regulations on the Supervision and Management of Quality and Safety Main Responsibilities for Industrial Product Production Units" to help cable enterprises implement product quality and safety production main responsibilities and clarify various requirements.

Enterprise Standard "Leader" Award

As of the end of 2022, a total of 58 enterprises in Guangdong have become "leaders" in 151 standards, achieving outstanding results. On site, Dean Ma Lincong awarded the unit's award for the "leader" of the 2022 (wire and cable) enterprise standard.

Guangzhou Nanyang Cable Group Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Jinhuanyu Wire and Cable Co., Ltd., among others, have been awarded the "leader" in the enterprise standard list in the wire and cable field for three consecutive years.

Guangzhou Panyu Cable Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Zhongbao Cable Co., Ltd., and others have been awarded the "leader" list of enterprise standards in the field of wires and cables for two consecutive years. 

Establishment and unveiling of the Cable Special Committee

In 2023, the Wire and Cable Special Committee of Dongguan Electric Power Industry Association, jointly initiated by Dongguan Electric Power Industry Association and Dongguan Electric Power Industry Association, will play an important role in technical innovation and quality improvement of power cables.
