2014 China Wire & Cable Industry convention successfully held in Wyndham Hotel and Resorts, Shanghai on 23t September, 2014. This convention is organized by CEEIA-ECWB and Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute. The leaders from CEEIA-ECWB and local wire & cable organization and guests and representatives from cable, optical fiber, machine and material companies in China and media around 500 people attended this convention。

    Mr. Wei Dong first on behalf of convention organizer to point out that the Chinese wire and cable industry develop quickly during 12th five year plan, but along with Chinese economy enter into the phase of new normal, each company should focus on the turning point of GDP and the macro-situation’s effects to cable industry。

   The convention first presenting awards to around 10 enterprises (shangshang, hengtong , baosheng, yuandong, zhongtian, tebian, jiangnan, zhongchao, hanlan, wanma) for the most competitive enterprise in chinese wire and cable industry in 2014 year。

   Theme report is hosted by the chairman Mr. Yang Zeyuan of Baosheng group. Professor Mr. Qian Chunhai from China Executive Leadership Academy, Pudong emphasizes describe the trend of macro-economy in the latter half of 2014 year from economy increasing, price stability, full employment, balance of international payment 4 aspects. He also point out that a series of proactive fiscal policies come out by government, 19 policies and measures to promote the reform, adjust structuring, benefit livelihood, and many contents of these policies are closely related to cable industry。

   Doctor Xiang Anbo from Development Research Center of the State Council analysis country’s policy towards wire and cable manufacturing companies and the solution of enterprises’ development under the phase of new normal from cable market structure, cable company’s development environment and strategy. Top analyst Robert from CRU analysis the development trend of international wire & cable manufacturing from 4 aspects of global cable market in 2013, developed and developing countries, future development and 2014 year, main cable manufacturer。

   The theme report is hosted by Shangshang froup’s chairman Ding Shanhua.
