2023 Cable and Harness Advanced Equipment Industry Exchange Conference Held at Guangzhou Cable Factory

To strengthen technical exchange and industry information exchange between equipment enterprises and cable manufacturing enterprises in the fields of wires and cables, wire harnesses, and connectors, and promote the improvement of the intelligence, informatization, and digitization level of equipment in the wire and cable industry.

On August 8th, Guangdong Cable Association and five other provincial and municipal cable associations jointly held the "2023 Cable and Harness Advanced Equipment Industry Exchange Conference" at Guangzhou Cable Factory Co., Ltd. This symposium invited nearly 40 representatives from 21 leading enterprises in various sub sectors such as wire drawing, stranded wire, and auxiliary equipment in the cable industry to attend the conference. Our Deputy General Manager Zhang Jie was invited to participate in this exchange meeting.

Yu Qunguang, General Manager of Guangzhou Cable Factory Co., Ltd., delivered a welcoming speech and warmly welcomed the experts and enterprise representatives who participated in this exchange meeting. And it was mentioned that as Guangzhou Industrial Control Group officially enters the Fortune 500, Guangzhou Cable, as a subsidiary enterprise, will have better development opportunities and space. Through continuous technological, product, and service upgrades, as well as the construction of the Greater Bay Area Transmission and Distribution Industrial Park, the company has gradually developed from cable products to the industrial chain, from production factories to industrial parks, and from single manufacturing to providing services and solutions. We hope that through this exchange meeting, we can deepen understanding among all parties, work together to create a better future.

At the meeting, representatives of various equipment enterprises presented their experiences and trends in the construction of intelligence and informatization in their respective sub fields. Representatives of cable companies have raised the pain points and difficulties in the current application of cable equipment, and engaged in dialogue and exchange on equipment automation, intelligence, informatization, and digital construction work to explore cooperation opportunities. All parties also conducted in-depth discussions and research on the preparation work of the "Greater Bay Area Cable and Harness Advanced Equipment Industry Alliance", and established an industry alliance to serve the high-quality economic development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

After the meeting, the attending representatives went to the exhibition hall and production workshop of Guangzhou Cable Factory for a visit and study, to gain a deeper understanding of its development history, production situation, equipment automation, and other situations.

This event aims to further leverage the platform role of the association, strengthen the linkage between equipment enterprises and cable enterprises, solve the pain points and difficulties in equipment application in the current cable industry, assist enterprises in building intelligent and automated workshops, and promote the high-quality development of the Guangdong cable industry.
